Emily was one of three asylum seekers from South Wales detained by the Home Office in December 2013.
In an act of amazing solidarity, Emily, despite her ill health, offered to phone Osama Elkwildi and NSY from Cardiff, even though she had never met them, to offer support, advice and friendship at a difficult and desperate time for them all.
Friends of the three have been campaigning for them to stay where they would be safe. And there is a twitter account for news and updates about their campaigns:
